1) It can make your brain like a sieve. A recent study done by the Yale University School of Medicine found that people who smoke daily had a poorer working memory than non-smokers because of the negative effects nicotine has on the brain.

Smoking coats the throat, tongue and nasal passages with mucous, desensitizing your olfactory nerves. Then what fun will dessert be? 3) It'll drain your bank account. According to the Lung Association, the average smoker spend $1,000.00 a year on cigarettes. We can think of 1, 000 other things you could spend that on instead. 4) Your zits will heal more slowly and even scars, reports the Lung Association. That's because smoking lowers level of collagen(which helps repair damage) and cuts down on the amount of oxygen and nutrients getting to the skin. 5) It can be more addictive and harder to quit than heroin or cocaine, according to Health Canada.
