The blue in the sky we see is scattered blue light !

Blue light gets scattered (spread) around much more than all the other colors from the sun, causing the sky to appear blue. (The oxygen and nitrogen molecules cause the sky to appear blue because of scattering.)

1) Clouds are made of water droplets, which are bigger than the wavelength of red light. This means they can scatter red and blue light equally well, and clouds will be the same color as the white sunlight shining on them.

2)True.. If the light has a shorter wavelength than the particle it hits, it cannot get around the particle and will be scattered.

3)Sunsets are red because all other light is scattered away.. False, other colors dont just scattered away, íts just becuz red is the longest wavelength of light, so we can easily see it

4)light waves
