I want you to be happy
I want you to enjoy life
I don't want you to feel empty
Or be consumed in strife

I wish there were some way
To erase the pain you've been through
And I wish the words I daily say
Could bring some sense of comfort to you

I would love to know how you feel
God knows I'd love to know
I wish I had the power to heal
As if I was some super hero

I wish I could break your falls
Be the one to fall onto the ground
I wish I could walk with you through those halls
And never let anyone put you down

I wish I could do more for you
Like save you from future heart breaks
I wish I could invent some type of medicine
To heal all your hearts wounds and aches

My dear friend...
If I could have any wish come true
It'd be for your happiness to never end
